Purpose
My purpose as an independent proposal consultant is to inspire and empower clients by sharing with them the best possible methods and tools that are critical to develop winning proposals. I reduce proposal stress through active involvement -- rolling up my sleeves and doing whatever is necessary.
VersatilityOver the past two decades, I’ve worked with just about every type of federal contractor -- small, medium, large, civil, defense, you name it. I’ve even guided very small companies through their first federal government pursuit. Several times, I’ve helped companies win their recompetes -- saving dozens to hundreds of jobs from the chopping block.
Capture & Proposal ProcessesI’m passionate about implementing proven processes, but I also know that my clients expect both flexibility and a respect for their existing methods and processes. I am a skilled negotiator and always advocate for activities that will increase win probability. I have significant professional experience to draw upon. I can tell a war story just like most good consultants in this business.

Win StrategyIt seems that win strategy means something different to just about everyone I meet, depending on their professional background and proposal training. I use a straightforward win strategy approach that enables everyone on the team to internalize and articulate why we are the customer's #1 choice.
InsightI’ve learned a lot of lessons over the years. I learn at least one major lesson on every proposal and strive to incorporate that knowledge going forward. This insight, gained through hands-on experience working with dozens of companies, sets me apart from others who might bring only 5 or 10 years of experience from a single company.
TechnologyProfessionally, I’m known for my proposal planning and organizational skills. I value efficiency and achieve that with technical savvy as a power user of Microsoft Office, Acrobat, and other software tools. Technology is a huge driver for how I manage proposals. It allows me to effectively break down an RFP response into manageable steps while helping clients stay compliant and responsive.
